The Successes

As WBW concluded, a program staff of four and six guest speakers successfully trained 60 youth and young adults. We alleviated  challenges by offering asynchronous training, which enabled participants to go over training materials in their own time.

We found that pairing self-study with group discussions in following training sessions was optimal for flexible learning.  Despite the challenges of virtual training and leading complex lives, our participants put their best foot forward with what they had, and a handful of the young adults were especially engaged.
